Tarunika Anand
Senior Policy Advocate, State and Federal Plastics Policy
Tarunika Anand is the Senior Policy Advocate for State and Federal Plastics Policy on the Policy and Government Affairs team. They lead WWF’s state policy work on plastic pollution and support the team’s broader plastic policy portfolio.
Tarunika previously served as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Donald Payne Jr. and an Energy and Environment Legislative Correspondent for Senator Jon Ossoff working on conservation and clean energy policy. Prior to their roles on Capitol Hill, Tarunika worked the 2020 campaign cycle as the Campaign Manager for a state senate race and the Deputy Campaign Manager for a state house race in Georgia. Tarunika has also held various positions at the Georgia State Capitol, the Democratic Party of Georgia, and the Atlanta City Council.
