Alexis Will

Alexis was born and raised in Sitka, Alaska, where she fell in love with the ocean. That love led her to become a seabird ecological physiologist and, eventually, earn a PhD from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. At WWF she is working on building a research program for the US Arctic to support wildlife monitoring and area-based conservation work. She also collaborates with partners on non-regulatory approaches to establish conservation measures.
