Cristina Marcos

Cristina Marcos leads communications for WWF’s Policy and Government Affairs team, telling the stories of its environmental conservation policy advocacy and partnerships with the U.S. government to protect nature around the globe. 

Before joining WWF, Cristina worked as a communications consultant at ROKK Solutions in Washington, D.C., elevating the policy priorities of leading nonprofits and trade associations, including a bipartisan coalition of environmental organizations, insurer interests, taxpayer advocates and housing groups united behind proactive disaster mitigation policies. Before that, she covered Congress as a reporter for national news organizations for over a decade. She spent most of that time reporting on the House of Representatives for The Hill, where she developed deep institutional knowledge of legislative processes and an ability to explain the stakes of complex public policy issues to mass audiences.
