Gallery: Artwork by Ysabel LeMay

Ysabel LeMay’s colorful landscapes clearly evoke the “Wonderful Other Worlds” title that unites the images on these pages. The intricate, digitally composed collages use carefully curated images—taken with the Quebec-born, Texas-based artist’s own camera—to assemble idealized natural scenes. Of the work, LeMay says: “Working with photography and nature, I realize the potential to be an ambassador for the preservation of the environment and wildlife—I believe and hope my work will eventually bring me to walk on that path.” To read more, visit ysabellemay.com.
