Palming Off a National Park

In 2011 and 2012, WWF conducted an investigation of chains of custody of oil palm fruit bunches illegally grown inside Indonesia’s Tesso Nilo National Park and two nearby concessions. The investigation, summarized in this report, uncovered the purchase of illegal palm fruit bunches by two companies: Wilmar and Asian Agri.
