What can I stream?

You can stream anything you like—art, games, cooking—it’s up to you! Just remember that you’re streaming for a charity, so stick to Twitch’s Terms of Service and remind people why you’re streaming and why the cause matters to you.

When can I stream?

Anytime! You can fundraise and sign up whenever you want. We run around two special WWF streaming events a year where you can connect with other Wild-Livestreamers and collaborate or compete in games, but outside of those periods, fundraising for WWF is always on!

What fundraising goal should I set?

Launch your stream with an achievable fundraising goal to create momentum, then aim for more.

Set a fundraising goal that feels achievable but meaningful to you (remember why you chose to raise funds for WWF; what difference would you like to make to help regenerate and protect nature?). On average, streamers usually raise around $500 per 1,000 Twitch followers. Some streamers who have organized amazing streams with lots of fun challenges have raised more than their number of followers! Anything is possible!

When you register to support WWF, we will send you a toolkit with further information on how the funds you raise will support the work of WWF and share some great tips on how to ask your followers for donations.

Where does the money go?

WWF Wild Livestreamers is a collaborative effort by World Wildlife Fund US and AU. Funds raised through your efforts will be shared evenly between these two WWF country offices.

Fundraising today will help secure a tomorrow for nature. Your support for WWF means that you are playing your part in helping to protect and restore nature.
