What is a group of lions called?
African lions are the most social of all cats and live together in groups called prides. Females do most of the hunting and males defend the pride’s territory.
Who takes care of lion cubs?
Many lions in a pride give birth at the same time, so cubs may nurse from other females in addition to its mother.
Where do lions live?
Even though the lion is sometimes referred to as the “king of the jungle,” it actually only lives in grasslands and plains.
